Biography
Early Life
Ael'llaiir ir-Ihhliae t'Aegis was born Ael ir-Ihhliae t'Aegis, in Ihhliea on ch'Havran to Aidoann ir-Aihai t'Aegis and Vaebn e-Merrok tr'Aegis. Her mother was a Galae colonist officer and her father, a Tal Shiar tallan; not that Ael knew this of course. Her d'navassa occurred on 9-5-Earth, 1879. Unfortunately, Aidoann was not able to give birth at their home. In fact, she gave birth to Ael in a shuttle relaying her home from Aidoann's ship, the ChR Sstaere. Upon her arrival at the home, Ael was examined and found to have no defects. She was clad in ceremonial robes and taken to the family shrine. There she was presented to the elements who blessed her for her life ahead. Her father then met his daughter and named her Ael, as he had high hopes for his daughter. She had a sister who was older than her, Rhhaein, who was present at the ceremony. Because both of her parents were in service of the Aevumih, Ael and Rhhaein were often put into the care of their aunt, Mavus. While at their aunt's, the two girls were taught to speak. They were inspected annually to detect any defects. Upon her first inspection, Ael was found to have no defects. Upon the same inspection for Rhhaein, she was found to have an incurable sensory defect. Vaebn and Aidoann rushed back to ch'Havran. When they arrived, Aidoann took Ael home and Vaebn took Rhhaein to a state building. When Ael arrived home, the first thing she asked was "When is Rhhaein coming home?". It was explained to Ael that her sister had been put to death and that she wasn't going to see her again. Ael then went into a form of shock. She was often very quiet and would do very little. Even her aunt Mavus, who Ael thought very highly of and often found fun, couldn't cheer her up.
On her fifth birthday, Ael was inspected for one last time. She was found to have no problems and she was prepared for her d'sora. As per tradition, a massive banquet was help and Ael met non-family members for the first time. During these celebrations, Ael surprisingly "brightened up", thanks to a talk that she had had with her mother before the ceremony, regarding the fact that inspectors may have an issue with her silence. She then recited her family lineage at sunset. Ael's phi'lasasam at the Ihhliae Tower of phi'lasasam, then began.
During her phi'navtasam, she was taught skills that would help her in life and exercised to optimise her health. She was also taught basic skills in the Federation Standard language. Her aptitude tests guided her towards the electives of law and leadership. She also met Vaurek tr'Khev. Ael and Vaurek were near instant friends and they stayed this way for a long time. This was when Ael left her state of shock for good. She had almost "replaced" her sister.
At the age of ten, she passed on to the phi'deltasam. She took the classes for law in the administration specialties. She also took classes in the competitive sports of climbing and orienteering. Vaurek was given courses in security in the general field of military specialties.
At fifteen, Ael entered the phi'bresalsam. Here she learnt how to become a more solid member or society. She was taught that the best must be done for the Aevumih. Her skills in climbing were expanded from what they were during the previous stage of education. Ael's curriculum was pushed towards more investigative and security goals as these were where she excelled. She also attained fluency in Federation Standard during this time. It was during this time that Ael and Vaurek began developing feelings for each other.
d'Talla
At the age of twenty, Ael went for her d'talla. She and her now partner, Vaurek, were assigned to different ships, having to opt for a long distance relationship. Ael served at the rank of Mne'hh erei'Nrrin in the outpost division; aboard Outpost 47. She was assigned to maintaining outpost defences. She thought that this was a job for those assigned to engineering divisions; however, mnhei'sahe told her that it was for the aevumih. She was not that skilled in maintenance anyway. The year she spent in this division, though adequate, clearly showed that outpost division was inappropriate for Ael.
The next year, she was promoted to Sei'hh erei'Nrrin and sent into the military division aboard the ChR Aevr. Her posting was security. She was called to duty when the ship was attacked by pirates. The aliens were able to board the ship. Though she was competent at neutralising all but one of the aliens, she really excelled at the interrogation and logical deduction into finding out what the pirates were after. Ael's over seers started to think that this would be the correct division.
As a Kre'hh erei'Nrrin, Ael was assigned to the explorations division aboard ChR Khallianen. She did have decent skills in scanning for M-class planets however, she didn't have the aptitude for exploration that she had for the other divisions.
As a Hwi'hh erei'Nrrin in her fourth year was assigned to the colonisation division. She did have the right attitude towards colonisation as it was a direct benefit to the Aevumih. However, she didn't have the right people skills needed to serve in this division, something that would be gained from Advanced Officer Training, however, natural prosesion of these skills isoften thought of highly in colonistation.
At the end of this fourth year, it was decided that Ael was suited best in the military. The same was decided for Vaurek. They were both assigned to the same ship (the Aevr) as Nrrins in the security department. It was during this year, that Ael and Vaurek first spent a night together. One month before the end of the d'talla, a science officer aboard the ship was murdered. Ael was put forward as one of the main investigators. Ael was able to get further in the investigation in five days than the deputy security chief reckoned he could in twice that. In eight days, Ael was able to reveal that it was the deputy science officer that was the murderer. This impressed Ael's overseers more that any other things that she had done during the d'talla.
She was nearing the end of her d'talla, when her father, Vaebn (then posing as a science khre'Arrain) was assigned to the ship temporarily for a research mission. He was actually investigating a massive crime ring that was rumoured to have minions on the ship. He had ordered the ship to a system for "research purposes". When called apon to inform him that they have arrived, he did not answer. Security Officer erei'Arrain tr'Khnialmnae, Ael'llaiir and Vaurek moved down to his quarters, to find him dead, lying on in the centre of his quarters, a still glowing disruptor bolt in his chest. Ael'llaiir cried out and abruptly left for her quarters.
The next day, she attempted to meet with the security chief, who was already to busy to see her. She then went to the Tal Shiar Political Officer, Entallan Nveid tr'Lhaenn who said that it be best that she as both the victims daughter and a young Nrrin, that she stayed away from the case. Ael wouldn't take this and went to see the Tal Diann Legate, khre'Arrain Dhael t'Aegis, a hfuhar member of Ael's. The Legate said that she believed in Ael, and that she would allow her to, unofficially, serve as her assistant on her part of the investigation.
Ael followed the Legate around on her investigation and "took notes" on the finer points of investigation. Whiles searching Vaaebn's quarters, Ael found a broach, under the pillow of the bunk. Upon an inspection, it was found to be that of a Tal Shiar operative. Apon ample inspection, it was revealed to be a possession of a Theirnn Vaebn tr'Aegis. He had most likely kept the broach with him to symbolise the burdens of an intelligence agent. Ael put any questions behind her for the time and focused on the task at hand. She returned to the Tal Diann Legate expressing her want to find her fathers killer even stronger that before, the intelligence khre'Arrain only smiled, "Took you long enough, the investigation has just got started".
The next few days were spent in meetings with the Legate; deducing that there was something on the planet that Vaebn was looking into and that someone aboard the ship didn't want him finding out. They soon also realised that they would not be able to go down to the planet without the killer knowing. Dhael said that she would have to go the rest alone. Ael refused to let her do this and insisted that she help her. Dhael reluctantly agreed and said that it was time for Ael's look in on intelligence.
Under the cover of night, Ael and Dhael beamed down to the planet with assistance of a special Tal Diann transporter system. They operated a stake out around a shuttleport that Vaebn had been scanning several times while aboard ship. When the port was quite the two moved in on a lodge for pilots. Their scanners detected a black spot under the shack. Ael and Dhael confronted the person at the front desk, who said that they had no underground compartment. While he was saying this, Ael noticed a key labelled basement on a key behind the desk. The two promptly "dealt" with the man before descending to the basement. They entered upon a rather suspect games session, though that wasn't the most shocking thing. Staring at them, with wide eyes, was the Aevr's chief science officer. After escorting the group and the contraband currency lying on the table in the cellar and having a drawn out interrogation session, it was revealed that it was the science officer that killed Vaebn. After a raged strike across the face from Ael, he and his accomplices were imprisoned and prepared for more questioning.
After the ordeal was over, Ael fell into a state of questioning; Why would her father not tell her? Was he trying to protect her? One thing was for sure; He had lived a lie for the last twenty-five years and by the look of it, he hadn't planned on stopping any day soon. While she was sitting in the mess hall the day of her fathers reveal, Ael was approached by Entallan tr'Lheann. He said "I warned you Nrrin. But, I believe you should know," he sat down across from her and said "Your father was a great man, he nearly always got the investigations right, no stone unturned, always kept a straight face but despite his mask of stoicism, he loved you Ael. Everything he did was to protect you from the...difficulties of the Tal Shiar, and intelligence on the whole." to which Ael replied "I don't understand" The Entallan smiled saying "Judging by what I have spoken about with khre'Arrain t'Aegis, you might soon. Keep the flame alive, Ael". In the same way that the Entheirrn had seemed to, Ael had changed. She had become colder to the type of criminal that took away her father. She changed her name to Ael'llaiir, winged fire.
Advanced Officer Training -- Tal Diann
Ael'llaiir was suggested to go into Advanced Officer Training after d'talla. She also was offered by the Tal Diann to be put into their service. She accepted this offer, now knowing what Entallan tr'Lhaenn meant, he and khre'Arrain t'Aegis has worked together to "aid" her rise to the Tal Diann. She was promoted to the rank of Eredh and spent two years training for Tal Diann membership. During this training, she and Vaurek went through d'anna and were joined in marriage. She also became fluent in Klingonese. At the end of her training, she spent time with her aunt Mavus and her mother, Aidoann. They spent time at the s'Aegis estate, mourning Vaebn, attending his funeral, at the end of which, a Tal Diann erei'Riov approached Ael'llaiir regarding a mission aboard the USS Voyager, and how they needed a Tal Diann Legate. She asked if Vaurek would be going on the mission. He replied by saying that he had been approached, however, Vaurek was assigned to the Rihannsu Guard, the elite defence force of the twin worlds. Knowing the honour this posting was, Ael'llaiir encouraged her bondmate to stay and wait for her return from the mission. Vaurek agreed and saw Ael'llaiir off on her mission.
Time Aboard USS Voyager
Ael'llaiir was assigned as Tal Diann Legate to USS Voyager. Ael'llaiir was on the bridge of Voyager when she was attacked by an automated weapon ship. She was manning the tactical station. Ael'llaiir was assisting refugees in an explosion in the cargo that they were staying. During the attempt, Ael'llaiir caught fire and was taken to sickbay. When the cargo bay became irreparable, the excecutive officer, Lieutenant Commander Braun risked himself to vent the atmosphere in the cargo bay. He and hughpe' lagh were cast into space however were transported back onto the ship and treated for their injuries. Ael'llaiir was admitted to sickbay with a mild headache. erei'Riov Rhiana t'Aegis relieved her of duty for 24 hours for medical reasons. khre'Riov Shihaya t'Khnialmnae suggested that Ael'llaiir take counseling because of her actions in the cargo bay when she attempted to bypass the EPS conduit that exploded and caught fire. Ael'llaiir was later questioned regarding her actions in the cargo bay as part of an investigation directed by Lieutenant Commander Braun. Following the questioning Ael'llaiir was confined to the brig for three days to research and bring her skill set up to a level that would have made her efective in the cargo bay incident, and possibly have allowed her to succeed in rerouting the power from the EPS conduits. After three days, Ael'llaiir was released but wouldn't return to duty until she completed a series of tests to test her skills. When she completed these tests, she would return to duty as a security officer under khre'Arrain Nalah t'Khnialmnae, which she did.
Time on Hellesport Station
Voyager returned to the Alpha Quadrant through a wormhole which sent them seven years into the future. Voyager was ordered to Hellesport where many of her crew transferred. Ael'llaiir was promoted to erei'Arrain and ordered to serve as an intelligence officer in the command department. She then began her search for Vaurek. Her sources could not give her information on her whereabouts as he had gone into hiding with the rest of the Rihannsu Guard in the OOR attack on ch'Rihan. She called the period spent without her bondmate the Days uaenn'Vaurek; the "Days Away From Vaurek". She solicited the help of security chief First Lieutenant Ithiel Cain for assistance in finding Vaurek. For companionship in this time, she purchased a young llurh (similar to a Terran cat with the ears of a Terran rabbit) from a trader on the station. She became very attached to him and named him Sesketh after a treat he enjoyed and one she was partial to as a child.
In her duties as an intelligence officer, she was given direct command over Sergeant Jeremy Snipes, a former agent of the British MI5 on Earth. She used his skills in many of the investigations she partook on Hellesport, providing investigative assistance to the security department. The first two cases she dealt with were the siphoning of credits from station terminals by a Tellarite named Harvok and the murder of a Vulcan Starfleet officer.
In the early days of her tenure in this position, Ael'llaiir developed infamy among the traders of the station's commerce annex when she motioned to the Triumvirate for them to order Liquid Assets, an adult entertainment establishment, to move their doors from the promenade to the less busy and more shady commerce annex.

| erei'Riov Aidoann ir-Aihai t'Aegis (Aged 79) is a senior officer in the Galae Colonist Division, overseeing the administration of the Aevumih's colonies. Born in Aihai to the cousin of the current hru'hfirh, Aidoann had the upbringing of a traditional Havrannsu aristocrat, although, she had the beliefs in forward thinking civilian life in the Aevumih, long before such things were widely thought right. As a teenager, whenever she was out of the eyeshot of her mother, she would don the latest experimental fashions of the Aevumih and socialised with her friends from the other hfihrnn who shared the same ideas. This is a trait she would pass onto her daughters. She willingly served her d'talla when reaching twenty after becoming a certified administrator at phi'lasasam. At the end of the service, she did her training to become an Erein in the Colonisation Division. In her fifty-three years of service, she has risen to the rank of erei'Riov and administered the colonies on many of the Aevumih's fringe worlds. When she was a mere erei'Arrain, she was caught up in an illegal operation run by an insurgent group in the colonies. She was responsible for the overseeing of cargo transfers to the colonies in her early years and she had unwittingly authorised a transfer of weapons to a terrorist operation. The Tal Shiar intercepted the authorisation and began investigating into Aidoann. She insisted she knew nothing of the weapons, but none of the tlaru; none of them except the leader of the team, Tallan Vaebn ei-Ra'tleihfi tr'Merrok. Vaebn was a hotshot investigator, known for refusing promotions to keep himself in command of his team and having one of the highest successful arrest to service time ratios in the Tal; even the Khellian himself had started to hear whispers of this great officer. Tallan tr'Merrok presented evidence in Aidoann's defence and proved that she was innocent. Shortly after the investigation, Vaebn contacted Aidoann, expressing apologies for the misunderstanding, a rare sentiment for a senior Tal Shiar officer. Aidoann replied, insisting that she was fine. Vaebn sent a letter back. The two continued this correspondence for some time, until they met as Arrain and Entallan and spent some shore leave together. They announced that they would be married. A time after the marriage, Aidoann gave birth to a daughter, Rhhaein, whom she and Vaebn cherished. They spent all the time they could caring for her. Two years later, their second daughter, Ael, was born. She got the same treatment as Rhhaein. At the age of three, Rhhaein was put to death due to a sensory defect discovered in her inspection. Aidoann and Vaebn were distraught, however didn't want to show it; Vaebn was a Tal Shiar officer, if he showed this weakness, his enemies may take advantage of him. Vaebn's occupation was to be kept a secret from Ael, who grew up to have the same views on fashion and civilian life as her mother, but also show great potential in d'talla as a professional and natural military officer. In Ael's final year of d'talla when Vaebn had to pose as a khre'Arrain on her ship to investigate a crime ring on an Aevumih colony. Before he could investigate, he was murdered by the ship's science officer who was working for the ring. Ael investigated into his death herself and found her killer, but she also found out the details of her father's true occupation. Theirrn Vaebn e-Merrok tr'Aegis of the Tal Shiar was 79. A large funeral was held by s'Aegis and the Intelligence Personnel Bureau, which was attended by Aidoann, Ael (now named Ael'llaiir) along with many officers of the Tal Shiar, including Entallan Nveid tr'Llhaenn, a close ally of Vaebn (and the man Ael'llaiir called "The only living Tal Shiar officer I trust(ed)"). Many officers from the Tal Diann also came to pay their respects to this great servant of the Aevumih. | ||

| Rhhaein i-Ihhliae t'Aegis was born in 1877 AS. She was the first daughter of Aidoann t'Aegis and Vaebn tr'Aegis. She was two years older than her younger sister, Ael, and suffered from that typical "firstborn syndrome" of being spoilt as a child. When she was three, Rhhaein was diagnosed with a critical sensory disorder and was put to death by medical officers in Ihhliae. | ||

| erei'Enrokhelh Vaurek e-Khev tr'Aegis was born Vaurek i-Ihhliae tr'Khev in the Season of Jaeih of 1879 AS (Aged 37). At the age of six, during phi'navtasam, as well as being taught in the military specialties, he met Ael ir-Ihhliae t'Aegis and the two became close friends. The mixed socially all through their teenage years, developing feelings for each other during phi'bresalsam, and were in a relationship by the time of d'talla. They opted for a long distance relationship as they moved through the divisions of the Galae, seeing each other when they had shore leave within short distances. They were reunited permanently when they were assigned to the ChR Aevr for their final year of d'talla. When Ael's father was murdered on during their tour of duty, Vaurek supported Ael during her difficult time and tried to help in her investigation in any way that he could, but he found it difficult. The two became joined in d'anna during their officer training the next year. Vaurek got placed in the Rihannsu Morairi (the Twin World's elite militia defence force) as an erei'Rokhelh, a rank he soon ascended from while service on the Morairi's flagship. When contact was lost with Ael'llaiir's ship, Vaurek never lost hope that she may one day return. He was incomplete without her, and it was noted that he was spending a lot of time with members of his former hfihar, s'Khev. At the Battle of ch'Havran against the OOR, Vaurek served as an erei'Enrokhelh. He went missing after the battle for some time, before reappearing to Ael'llaiir on Hellesport Station in 1917; the first time he'd seen her in seven years to him. The two spent a few days "reacquainting" themselves with each other; a time during which they discussed where they were going with their life together; discussing assignments, accommodation and the chances of starting a family, an idea that may be controversial as Ael'llaiir was only 33, an age considered very early to be bearing children in Rihannsu society. | ||
| Other Relatives | ||
| Tala ir'Ihhliae t'Aegis is Ael'llaiir's hru'hrifh and first cousin twice removed (the cousin of her maternal grandmother). Little is known of Tala; even her date of birth alludes investigators. Being the hru'hfirh of s'Aegis, she once commanded significant influence within the Aevumih, but that all changed when the OOR came. The s'Aegis estate was destroyed with the rest of ch'Havran. As a result, the four main houses (s'Aegis, s'Khnialmnae, s'Llhaenn and s'Jhihansu) lost their influence in the Empire, coming to the level of the smaller hfihrnn such as s'Khev and s'Merrok. Tala is the adopted grandmother of khre'Riov Rhiana e-Fveirrolh t'Aegis, who became a member of s'Aegis after her parents were arrested for being members of the Reunification movement to unite the Rihannsu and the T'Khasi. After graduating phi'lasasam as a doctor of medicine and serving her d'talla, Rhiana ascended through the ranks of the Galae. Rhiana served with Ael'llaiir aboard the Voyager as an erei'Riov. It was she who dismissed her from her position as Legate on the ship. Rhiana is now serving as the Rihannsu triumvir to Hellesport Station after returning to the Beta Quadrant with the rest of the Voyager crew. Ael'llaiir's aunt, Mavus i-Ihhliae t'Aegis looked after her and Rhhaein when their Galae mother and (their secret) Tal Shiar father were off planet or just too busy to look after them (the latter rarely was the case, Vaebn and Aidoann always wanted a good reason to not see their daughters). Ael'llaiir's cousin, Second Lieutenant Nveid i-Ihhliae tr'Aegis is the Rihannsu security liaison on Hellesport Station. He shares quarters with Ael'llaiir, Vaurek and their llurh, Sesketh, on the station's Deck 6. | ||

| Enthierrn Nveid tr'Llhaenn served as the Political Officer aboard the ChR Aevr as an Entallan when Ael and Vaurek served there as nrrinir in their final year of d'talla. When Nveid's superior officer and old friend, Thierrn Vaebn tr'Aegis, disguised as a khre'Arrain approached him on the ship, he told him that he was undertaking on a dangerous mission that he may not survive. Before Vaebn retired to his quarters for what would be the last time, he made Nveid promise that if he didn't survive this, that he would watch over Ael "Because if anything happens to her, Elements help you in Vorta Vor!". When investigating the Theirrn's death, Nveid concluded that he could not have anticipated the attack, having not known that one of the ciminals he was tailing could be on the Aevr. Nveid refused Ael's request to participate in the investigation to protect her from the truth. The same could not be said for his Tal Diann counterpart. After Ael helped the Diann wrap up the investigation, Nveid and the Dohyrl helped forward her to the Tal Diann. After her training, Ael'llaiir often called upon Nveid for advice, most recenlt yin her search for her bondmate. | ||
| Riov Dhael t'Aegis was the Legate of the Aevr when Vaebn tr'Aegis was killed. She mentored Ael in the investigation of her father's death. She and Nveid tr'Llhaenn made the Tal Diann notice Ael and call her into their service. Dhael is one of Ael's main allies in the world of intelligence, alongside Enthierrn tr'Llhaenn. | ||

| Agent Jeremy Snipes is an intelligence officer serving under Ael'llaiir on Hellesport. He is highly regarded in the intelligence department as a top notch investigator and operational officer. He is a native of the United Kingdom, one of the federal states of Terra, where he served as a member of His Majesty's Security Service, better known as MI5. He led many missions conducted by the service, but was struck from the service after he had a major disagreement with K, the Director-General of MI5. Following Terra's destruction, Snipes found his way to Hellesport where he offered his service to the Intelligence Department. Though he holds the rank of Sergeant, he prefers to be referred to as Agent Snipes, rarely wearing duty uniform, preferring to don simply black clothes suited for clandestine operations. He has served with Ael'llaiir on many big cases on Hellesport, including the murder of two Vulcans, a large disruption to order on the station. |
