Summary
The Breen are a reclusive, powerful, and warlike humanoid race, native to the planet Breen in the Alpha Quadrant.
Political Situation
The Breen are politically non-aligned, and have been known to attack Federation vessels. They utilize privateers, and some groups have attacked various colonies throughout the quadrents. The Breen have outposts near the Black Cluster, and have settlements at Portas V near the Demilitarized Zone. In 2370, a Breen pilot participated in the palio on Deep Space 3. Some have found the Breen to be highly irritating and may be known for their low integrity and backstabbing nature. The Romulans have a saying: "Never turn your back to a Breen".
