The Galae is the Rihannsu equivalent of Starfleet, though their main occupation is not exploration, but defending the Aevumih against external enemies.
All Rihannsu do a five year mandatory service in the Galae, many pursue their careers there. A prestigious assignment and high rank are almost guarantees for an excellent standing in Rihannsu society and an ensuing high-profile political career.
Military Oath
| I pledge my life to the Aevumih, its people, the Deihuit, and the Fvillhaih alone.
I swear that I will go to all extremes necessary for the Aevumih. I know that if it is for the good of the Aevumih, it must be done at all costs. This may mean my life, but it is worth it to save the Aevumih from persecution, tyranny, or any evil that may become it. I pledge here and now my life to protect the goals and ideals of the Aevumih from this day until the day I die. |
