Overview

This 23 year-old is a friendly, loyal, and capable Starfleet officer, who has matured a great deal since her first days aboard the USS Endeavour (NCC-82000).

While aboard that ship, the first time she was required to become officer of the deck Ensign J'Trel was terrified. However, over the next several months she worked hard to overcome those initial fears and eventually became Chief Operations Officer Andaryn Valow's trusted right hand on the USS Okuda (NCC-75234) after both were transferred following the destruction of the Endeavour.

Not long afterwards, when the Okuda was destroyed by high speed collisions with quantum filaments, Lieutenant J.G. J'Trel was transferred, along with the rest of the senior staff, to the USS Dauntless (NCC-74214).

In mid-2389, when Lieutenant Commander Valow retired from Starfleet, J'Trel became Acting Chief Operations Officer aboard the Galaxy-class starship and performed the task admirably. However, with growing tensions between the United Federations of Planets and the Klingon Empire, Valow's commission was reactivated by Starfleet Command and he was placed back at his former post. J'Trel took the situation, as she always did, in stride and returned to her former role as Deputy Chief Operations Officer, under her long-time friend, without a word of protest.

Wanting to recognize her unwavering loyalty to Starfleet, the command crew of the Dauntless, and the admirable job that she had and continued to perform, Valow both put the Andorian up for promotion to full Lieutenant and placed a glowing commendation in her permanent Starfleet record.

In early 2390, J'Trel was offered the position of Chief of Operations aboard the USS Thunderchild (NCC-63549), recommended to Captain Patel by, friend and mentor, Valow. She transferred to the other vessel while it was under refit at Spacedock and took her position, and promotion to Lieutenant Commander, immediately - along with another praise-laden commendation from the Dauntless's Chief of Operations.
