Biographical Information

Born to Senator Khoal tr'Llhaenn and his wife, Mhai, Nalah ir-Aihai t'Llhaenn had a typical silver-spoon upbringing in the wine-country of Aihai and fit in well with the ideals of her hfihar. She was a model student, not overly bright, but loyal and true. She grew up with the empassioned belief that the safety of the Aevumih, the protection of the Rihannsu Way, is the paramount reason for her existance. Some might look upon such teachings as brainwashing, others as excellent education and training.

Training was in no short supply to her, either. Her father insisted on mastery-level skills in hand-to-hand combat, llaekh-ae'rl, and beam weapony, in the hopes that these skills would serve her well in the Tal Shiar, of which he was certain was her destiny. A destiny which, despite his constant pressure, would never come to be. She matured into a fine young woman, an exact replica of her mother, some said. She made it clear, however, that she wanted to pursue a career in the Galae, the Rihannsu Navy.

Nalah excelled at the Phi'lasasam, through officer training school, and during the first several years of service aboard Deletham Ssaedhe. She became known for her rigid stance on security issues, her outlook toward Offworlder technology, her purity of vision, and overall hardline stance against less 'traditional' officers and crewmen.

She was transferred to the Galae's flagship, the ChR Areinnye'Aidoann, and was quickly put in charge of security. Among her daily tasks, she trained security officers, performed electronic surveillance sweeps, met with ship and Galae leaders to address security issues, led away teams and participated in ship-wide drills and survival training.

While on assignment on the Aidoann, Nalah met and fell in love with Maec tr'Llhaenn-- an often outspoken, but hard-working security and operations officer with whom she identified with and found it easy to relate. They had discussed marriage on several occassions, perhaps even involving the both of them leaving the Galae to pursue a quieter life in Aihai. These dreams were quashed, however, when Maec was killed for talking back to a superior officer-- Nalah took the news with great difficulty.

Nalah was later discovered to have been part of an attempt to undermine the Aidoann's Riov, Shihaya t'Khnialmnae. She, together with Ekkhae t'Llhaenn, had worked to kidnap the Riov and transport her to Unificationist Rebels. She was found to simply have been following orders and, for unknown reasons, was not harshly punished for her involvement in the plot. Shortly after the incident, she withdrew from s'Llhaenn and joined s'Khnialmnae, a move that has many puzzled most and left many people upset. She has vowed her alligience to protecting and upholding the values of s'Khnialmnae, despite her past and previously loyal upbringing.

In late August, 2389, Nalah and Avrak tr'Merrok were bonded at a private ceremony on ch'Rihan. It was a surprise to most of their crewmates since they had long kept their relationship a secret. Shortly after, it was announced that Nalah was pregnant. She worked a full schedule through most of the pregnancy, including a several away missions.

On March 4, 2390, Nalah went into premature labor while visiting the vacation planet, Risa. Due to the urgent nature of the delivery, she and Avrak were transported to the USS Dauntless for treatment and she gave birth to a daughter shortly after.
