Biography

Born on a Havrannsu freighter, Rhiana's childhood began quite differently than that of most other Rihannsu children. Instead of a steady home, she lived mostly in tiny passenger cabins or cargo holds or, sometimes, in the homes of sympatisants for her parents' cause. Indeed, Raffak and Ekkhae of s'Fveirrolh were dissidents, fighting with rather base means to get the Aevumih to see reason and join up with T'Khasi.

That worked out until the girl was about ten years old. She had partially been 'homeschooled' and was partially able to attend normal classes so her education had not suffered. But Rhiana had had enough from the nomad life and so, when the Ferengi freighter they were on docked at the old Hellesport Station, she took a few meager belongings and ran off the ship, hiding until she was certain that she was safe. Her parents, noticing the girl's disappearance too late, could not convince the Ferengi to turn around and when they finally made it back to Hellesport, Rhiana was gone.

At that time, she had already been brought to ch'Rihan where she spent the next ten years of her life in an orphanage just outside Ra'tleifhi and was actually quite happy there. Having a natural aptitude for sciences and more precisely medical sciences, she was put in the according classes and graduated as medical doctor. She naturally attended the five year mandatory military service, before she was accepted into the Advanced Officers Training course. Upon graduation, she was assigned to Deletham Ssaedhe as junior medical officer and shortly thereafter on the still quite new ChR Areinnye'Aidoann again as junior medical officer.

Rhiana has remained aboard this ship ever since, despite some rather serious problems and her only barely managing to escape execution at times. She has brought shame and honour onto her during these ten years and still became the ship's acting commanding officer.

She was hoping to be confirmed as the flagship's commanding officer, but when a joint mission to the Delta Quadrant was planned, she was volunteered by her hru'hfirh to participate in that mission and instead of the prestigious assignment she was hoping for, she ended up as executive officer aboard the USS Voyager. Soon enough, however, she became the acting commanding officer, then the commanding officer after the former commanding officer, Commander Frederic Larsen of Starfleet, was injured during an away team mission and had to undergo prolonged treatment. Eventually, he succumbed to the foreign bacteria having invaded his body. Rhiana was not to command the vessel for all that long, though. She was removed from command by then Theirrn Aerv'saihlan i-Ra'tleihfi tr'Llhaenn and khre'Riov Shihaya ir-Apnex t'Khnialmnae. The latter took command, only to be overthrown by a conspiracy of Starfleet officers with the backing of the Klingon crew with loS Qang as their leader. During Shihaya's command, Rhiana served as deputy chief medical officer and accepted the position of executive officer under Lieutenant Commander Stephen Braun who succeeded Shihaya - and was Rhiana's executive officer during /her/ command. Though she hated having to report to such a young and inexperienced commander, Rhiana did her duty and served him loyally.

Upon their return to the Alpha Quadrant, Rhiana underwent thorough debriefing by Galae and Tal Shiar officials, just as the rest of the Rihannsu crew. Once again, she hoped to be finally given command of her own ship, but once again, her hopes did not become reality. However, she was promoted to khre'Riov and assigned as triumvir to Hellesport station, a much more challenging position - even if it meant that she had to return to Hellesport on a permanent basis, this station that has so many bad memories for her.

Family Information

Parents	Rhiana's mother, Ekkhae ir'Rihlliai t'Fveirrolh, an M.D., and her father, Raffak e-Llhweiir tr'Fveirrolh, were dissidents. The worst kind of criminals that exist in the Aevumih. For years, they had lived on the run, hiding here and there, posing as Vulcans and/or travelling aboard independent freighters, always trying to stay ahead of the Tal Shiar. They had built an underground movement with members through all levels of Rihannsu society, many of which lead normal lives, trying to appears as loyal citizens to everyone around them while secretely lobbying for a reunification between T'Khasi and the Aevumih. Their base of operations was on Thieurrul, a harsh planet with a history of uprisings. As a child, Rhiana travelled with them, ignorant of her parents' occupation. She never questioned their livestyle until, at ages 6 and especially at 9, they managed to find refuge at friendly estates and the girl could attend a normal school instead of being taught by her parents. For the first time, she saw that not everybody lived like them, that other children had toys, a room of their own, friends. One day, when their transport docked at Hellesport where her parents had some people to meet, Rhiana took off, hiding aboard the station until the vessel had left again. She was picked up by officials and sent to Ra'tleihfi where she was put in an orphanage/training school. For many years, Rhiana managed to not think about her origins, and for many years, the dissidents were relatively calm. When their activity picked up again, Rhiana was an erei'Arrain already and fiercly loyal to the Aevumih her parents fought against. With the help of then Entallan Aerv'saihlan tr'Lhaenn, she contacted her parents, claimed that she wanted to join them and managed indeed to meet them and stay with them for a few weeks. Eventually, to protect a new-found friend, Jalad, she had to fire at her father just before the cavalry arrived. He was merely injured and, together with her mother and many other dissidents, was arrested and brought to a Tal Shiar facility for questioning and execution.
Siblings	Jaeih i-Ra'tleihfi t'Aegis, born on 3-1-Fire, 1902 A.S. (April 9, 2385), is Rhiana's blood-sister. When her mother was arrested, she was pregnant and she gave birth in the Tal Shiar facility. The child spent the first one and a half years of her life at the s'Llhaenn estate where she had been placed by Aerv'saihlan tr'Llhaenn before Rhiana had a chance to request her sister be handed over to her. Since then, Jaeih is being raised by s'Aegis foster parents who have adopted her and who are the only parents the girl knows. She is a headstrong youth and specialising in law and diplomacy at phi'lasasam.
