Hellesport is an independent trade station, located in the Klingon-Romulan Neutral Zone in a position local to all three of the major Beta Quadrant empires. This strategic location makes it a prime center for trade, both legal and illicit, for the three regional powers as well as many independent or non-affiliated entities. Originally constructed and operated by the PanHelles Interstellar Holdings Corporation, Hellesport has been the center of political and commercial upheaval for many years.
It has recently been re-purchased by PanHelles Interstellar Holdings Corporation from a small consortium of private Ferengi investors.
