== Federation Leaders and Government==

The '''[[President of the United Federation of Planets]]''' is the head of the Federation's executive branch (the [[Cabinet of the United Federation of Planets]]) and presides over it's legislative branch (the '''[[Federation Council]]'''). He is the nominal leader of the Starfleet and is elected by popular vote of the Federation people. The incumbent President is [[Jessica Jameson]], who has served since 2389.

The Federation Council, which once met in Paris but now convenes in Shi'Kahr, is bicameral, being made up of the ''House of Representatives'', the lower chamber of elected Representatives who each serve a roughly equal term length, and the ''Senate'', made up of Senators, two of which are elected by the actual member states of the Federation, eg the Federation Senator for United Earth represented Earth, Luna and Mars before their decolonisation and the Federation Senator for the Confederacy of Vulcan represents all of the worlds that were under (and are) Shi'Kahr's governance.

== Rihannsu Leaders and Government ==

The '''[[Government (Rihannsu Star Empire)|Fvillhain]]''' (Praetors) are the leaders of the Rihannsu. The Praetorate is made up of twelve men and women and is considered the third house of government. It wields the executive power (declaration of war, treaties etc) while the Deihu, '''the Senate''', deals with debating and vetoing legislature. The two houses of the Senate as well as the Praetorate make up the '''sei'Hehllirh''', the Tricameron.

The Qang or '''Chancellor of the Klingon High Council''' is the Klingon head of government and wields most political power. The selection process for the Qang is simple: anyone who can beat him is fair and honourable combat takes his power. The Chancellor sits on the '''Klingon High Council''' and is a very contested post between the great houses. The Empire's head of state is the '''Emporer''', the ta', who, though powerful in practice, is a ceremonial figurehead, created to appease the masses by having "Kahless" on the throne of the Empire once more.

The '''Federation State of the Confederacy of Vulcan''' is governed through the martial law system of '''Vulcan High Command'''. The High Command was founded to preserve order on Vulcan. It is made up of the '''High Council'''; an elected unicameral parliament of rank-less individuals who scrutinise the administration's movements; the '''Ministry of Security''', which manages the Confederacy's intelligence and criminal investigation branches; the '''Ministry of State''', which manages the diplomats; the '''Ministry of Science''', which oversees research and development; the '''Ministry of Defence''', the overseers of the military arm of Vulcan; the '''Ministry of Trade''' (have a guess); the '''Ministry of Health''' (pretty self-explanatory) and the '''Ministry of Thought''', the education department. These all report to a Minister, who normally holds the rank of Administrator, who sits in the Cabinet. The Government is led by the '''First Minister of the Confederacy of Vulcan''', who normally holds office as a normal Minister also. Each of the Ministries runs agencies that carry out the government's orders. All personnel of the agencies wear uniform and are ranked like military officers.

The '''Federation State of the Joinarant of the Trill''' has a unitary constitutional monarchy system. The legislative branch is the ''Triada'Trillium'', the Houses of Trill, a bicameral parliament. The lower house, the ''Triad'Nara'' or House of the People, with it's turquoise colour scheme, dates back to the 20th Century. It is a fully elected chamber, made up of the ''Triola'Nara'' (TNa) who are elected whenever elections are called. A ''Trio'Nara'' may stay on until they lose an election or are deposed from power. The ''Triad'' is the most powerful house of the parliament, though not by much. It has the power to overrule the upper house if it is a unanimous vote, which is rare, considering that there are right-wing parties that oppose any transgression into the power of the crimson clad chamber. The procedure of the lower house is relatively simple, the ''Trio'Triad'' (presiding officer) enters, announces the first order of business, then asks the relevant TN to stand and begin said order of business, when he finishes the presiding officer lets other's stand and ask questions or say their piece and so it goes on until a decision is made either a vote can be taken or they move onto the next order. The powers of TNa include the appointment of certain state officials and the impeachment of members of the upper house.

The upper house of the ''Triada'' is the ''Triad'Uniasha'', the House of Hosts, a house made up of those joined with symbiont who has been given a seat in the upper house (the ''Triola'Uniasha'' or TUa) or a guardian that the symbiont has chosen to represent them while they are unjoined. This house of the parliament dates back to the beginnings of Trill society, when the joined Trill, the ''Uniasha'', had all the power over the absolute monarchy state. Now, since the founding of the lower house, the ''Uniasha'' have been reined in and now, the houses are almost equal. The presiding officer is the ''Trio-ta'Triad'' ("-ta" indicating superiority over the ''Trio'Triad'') and the house runs very similarly to it's elected counterpart. The powers of the TUa include the appointment of higher state officials than those the ''Triad'Nara'' can appoint and the impeachment of members of that house. Also, the ''Triad'' is the only chamber in which an individual can be tried for high treason.

The Trill's government is appointed through party politics. One example of a Trillic party is the People's Voice Party. The party or caucus that controls a majority in the lower house is ''always'' appointed to government, and the leadership of this party/caucus is part of official parliamentary business (a simple vote counted in the lower house from among government TNa and then an approval vote by government TUa). The head of government is the ''Enshal tsi da Enshemar Trill'', the '''Prime Minister of the Trillic Joinarant'''. The ''Enshal'' appoints his ministers, the ''Triola'Enshal'' to lead the government departments and propose legislation to the parliament. While the ''Enshal'' leads the government in the ''Triad'Nara'', he has a representative in the ''Triad'Uniasha'' to control government business there, as no TN may enter the upper house unless summoned to the "exempt table", which is not considered inside the chamber. In modern times, the ''Enshal'' holds most power, however the head of state holds it in principal and practically uses it is special circumstances.

This head of state is the '''King of the Trillic Joinarant''', the ''Enshem'', who is simply whoever happens to be joined with the Tsang Symbiont. The King (or, literally, the Joinar) has the power to revoke all authority from the government (or just not appoint one) close both houses of the parliament and rule Trill and Trillius Prime through self decree.... he just never does. In practice, most of the Joinar's actions are to carry out the workings of government, approve laws, appoint the one who wins the elections etc, however, in desperate times, the Joinar has breached convention and donned an Admiral's uniform to command his forces. He has even appointed himself Prime Minister in the past and made himself the only appointed TN (that particular reign was not considered very successful). The Joinar's relationship with parliament is very close. He addresses a joint session of the parliament from the throne in the upper house chamber at the midpoint of every year, as well as whenever a government is formed or when a new host is joined with the symbiont. He then has prerogative to address both houses whenever he likes, preside over the upper house at his leisure and to observe the lower house from a throne in the gallery. The current reigning Joinar is '''Rashod II Tsang'''. When a Joinar dies, the process of selection of a successor by the Symbiosis Commission begins. This process does often take a long period of time, so, in the Joinar's absence, a '''President of the Trillic Joinarant''' (''Enshal'ta'') is appointed. The appointment is made by the ''Triad'Unisha''. A standing committee is formed, the chairman of which stands to formally announce the Joinar's death. The head of the Symbiosis Commission would have been called by the committee to formally announce that the search for a new host had begun, but a successor had not been found as of yet. The committee head would then announce those who had been selected as valid candidates for inauguration as president and would call them to the exempt table (the table in the centre of the chamber that those who are not TUa may sit at). The TUa would vote for he who they believe should be appointed. Then, in what is formally the second order of business, the chairman of the committee announces the results of the vote and the ''Trio-ta'Triad'' will be ordered to swear in the President, who then sits in the throne and gives a speech to begin his Presidency. The most recent holder was President Dalar Prim, who served in the interim between Atsed IX and Rashod II. NOTE: Presidents are not appointed when the Joinar is absent from office. At this point, a Steward-Regent is appointed to act in his absence.

The government of Trillius Prime is similar to the of Trill. It's parliament is semi-bicameral, being made up of the Trillic Legislative Assembly and the ''Triad'Uniasha''. The head of government is the '''Chancellor of Trillius Prime''' or ''Enshal'ma'', and the head of state is the Joinar.

A ship from Vulcan High Command detects this and send a communique asking to speak with Trill's leaders. In an act to protect the Symbionts, [[Azar Symbiont#The Rt. Hon. Teral Azar, TU|Foreign Secretary Azar]] orders all standard Trill to leave Trillius Prime and a delegation of unjoined Augments met with the Vulcans. From the moment on, Trillic foreign policy restricted all diplomats to Trillius Prime and all Trill to Trill. Only the Augments would be seen by foreigners.

		+	On the 22nd February 2401, Williams led a team to arrest [[Captain]] [[Ithiel Cain]], the Security Chief, over allegations of corruption. Ithiel submitted to arrest and was being escorted to the Department by Ael'llaiir t'Aegis when he mysteriously disappeared, the two guards that were with him had been killed and t'Aegis was found unconscious down a corridor on one of the "lesser decks".

Unfortunately, Aidoann was not able to give birth at their home. In fact, she gave birth to Ael in a shuttle relaying her home from Aidoann's ship, the ChR Sstaere.  On her fifth birthday, Ael was inspected for one last time. She was found to have no problems and she was prepared for her d'sora. As per tradition, a massive banquet was help and Ael met non-family members for the first time. During these celebrations, Ael surprisingly "brightened up", thanks to a talk that she had had with her mother before the ceremony, regarding the fact that inspectors may have an issue with her silence. She then recited her family lineage at sunset.  Ael's phi'lasasam at the Ihhliae Tower of phi'lasasam, then began.

To carry said items to the medical bay and to transport the two intrepid travellers to said station. A man in dire need of surgery to help re-attached a severed leg later and some tough negotiations as said man was bleeding out on a bar room floor and they managed to finagle the SS Badtz Maru from the man in return for saving life and limb. The ship, once transfer of ownership was completed, was eventually renamed the SS Touch and Go and the game was on. With the SS Touch and Go Ryan and Kei offered on the go medical services in exchange for credits, latinum, parts and pieces, in order to build up their medical bay.  Their medical bay may be ugly and mismatched but it gets the job done and provides them with a solid space for their business. They still offer up the SS Touch and Go as a semi-ambulance / flying surgical centre, but select individuals know of the service and it’s not advertised to the average public. It’s what they call their underground service and comes at a premium.
