Technical Data
USS Mars has no technical deviations from her line specifications. See Endeavour-class for full specifications.
Ship's Record
Following the lengthy shakedown, typical of an Endeavour-class, the ship became the flagship of Fleet Admiral Andrew Brinks and of the Federation's 6th Tactical Fleet.
During the Battle of Beta Veldonna the Mars suffered crippling damage, forcing the USS Okuda (NCC-75234) to act as the flagship for the 6th Fleet, but was of the eight surviving ships of that costly encounter with the OOR.
Other Notes
- The Stingray fighter group aboard the Mars is the 21st Fighter Squadron. Their unofficial motto is “Coronat victoria fortes” (translated from Latin as “Victory crowns the brave”), taken from their 20th-century counterparts, the Royal Australian Air Force's No. 21 Squadron.
